Consignment vs Sale

When we offer the direct purchase option, you get the opportunity to quickly sell your luxury bags at a decent price. If your goal is to get the maximum price for a luxury item, choose the consignment option.

For the convenience of our customers, we try to offer direct purchase as often as possible, but there are items that we prefer to take on consignment only. For example, these are smaller leather goods and accessories.

Items on consignment can bring you more profit than selling outright and are the preferred option for those who have time to wait and want to maximize the return on their luxury items.

Please note that we may accept your luxury bag as full or partial payment for another bag purchased from us.

What Price Will You Get

When you contact us to sell your designer bag or other luxury item on consignment, we ask that you provide us with as many details as possible and photos of the item itself. We also ask for your price expectations to make sure we are thinking in the same range.

The price we offer you depends on the model and its popularity, the condition of the item, the age of the bag, the estimated sale time of the bag, the prices of comparable items in the market, and other factors.

The purchase price is always negotiated with you individually, but usually you get 85% to 90% of the price at which your item will be sold.


Four Easy Steps to Consign Your Bag

1. Get an Estimate

Please complete our sales/consignment form or contact us at Describe the item you are selling, including brand, model, year of manufacture, color, leather type, hardware, condition, all accompaniments, where and when you purchased your item, and whether you have the original invoice from the boutique. If you have price expectations, please indicate them. We will contact you within 48 hours on weekdays, request photos for clarification and send you our estimate to agree on a sale price. You can also send us photos of your item directly to In the subject of the email, indicate the title of the item, size and color, and include all the above required information about the item in the email body.

2. Send Your Item

If you like our estimate, we will send you a consignment agreement to sign and a prepaid shipping label. Shipping and insurance are free of charge to you. All boxes and their contents must be securely packed. We recommend using bubble wrap or plastic recycling bags when packing to reduce the risk of damage. When we receive your item, we will inspect it to make sure it matches the description and is authentic. If necessary, we will clarify the estimate and contact you to confirm the sale price.

3. Consignment Period

We aim to sell your item within a month. If the item is not sold within this time, we will send you an email asking what you would like to do - do you want us to send you the item back or extend it for another month. If the item is not sold within 2 months, we will send it back to you or agree on a new selling price.

4. Get Paid

After your item is sold, we will send you a message to agree on your preferred payment method. Based on the terms of the consignment agreement, we will make payment to you within 5 working days after the payment method has been approved. Please note that if this was not a FINAL SALE based on the terms of our Return Policy, or your item was purchased by a buyer from the European Union, the buyer has the right to cancel or return the purchase within 14 days for any reason. In this case, according to the terms of the consignment agreement, we will make payment to you on the 15th day after the receipt of your item by the end buyer.
